I don't often get a photo of something designed
by someone else. That's OK, the designer is the boss and I'm just an employee.
If I do get a photo, it's usually during a moment of particular satisfaction
when the designer is feeling good about the work I've done.
The dark wood is honduras mahogany and the bookmatched
veneer is carpathian elm burl. This particular veneer was very special
because the burl had surprisingly few holes in it. You can find this piece
in the lobby of one of Washington DC's tourist attractions.
