My brother gave me a somewhat vintage Delta shaper. It works and seems to be in decent condition. Only problem -the drive belt is absent...and I can’t find a replacement belt. I checked all the sources I could find on the net and it comes up ‘discontinued’. If any of you have an idea where I could get an original or a replacement that works. Since I don’t have the original I don’t have an example...but it seems like it would need to be a flat and serpentine design..not a V belt. Maybe someone knows of a Delta parts source that has replacements for obsolete part numbers. Thank you much for your help. Jim in Nashville, TN

if it needs a flat belt, one of the "link" belts should work. I have found them to be useful on a variety of pieces of equipment.

Forgot all about them, I replaced mine after it was discussed here way back when, works well, seems to last forever.
