My shop dog has gotten so old that she can no longer get up the steps on the deck to get into the shop. I made her a ramp so she could get upon the deck, but I have to lead her to the ramp. She just would go to the steps and stop. Today when I got home from church, I went in to the shop to put some wood in the stove while she was outside. She went up the ramp and was at the door when I got ready to leave the shop. So I stayed in the shop with her for a while. Who says an old dog can't learn a new trick?
