The principle at the middle school where I have been teaching wood shop 1/2 day for the last two weeks wanted to know if I would be interested in
teaching full time. I have been teaching 1/2 day at the high school and 1/2 day at the middle school.I told him that at 75 I was willing to fill in for a short period of time but I did not want a full time position since I still have a lot of things I want to get done while I am still able.My eyes are getting really bad and there is a reason wood shop isn't taught at schools for the blind.I can honestly say that every student I had at both schools left with as many fingers as they came in with.
