As a substitute teacher I teach in several different schools. Friday I taught in a unique school .While it is part of the state school system all of the students are Amish. They had a 45 minute "music" class. They sang the 23rd Psalm, then discussed that David wrote most of the Psalms and played the harp, Then they discussed the David and Goliath story and sang two more Psalms. It was music! I was impressed since I had attended Homerville school in the 1950's which was the last state school system in Ohio to allow the Gidions to come in and teach Bible lessons.
