Our American Bulldog Puppies

It wasn't supposed to happen. They were only alone for a few moments. Consequently, eight American Bulldog puppies were born September 9th, and we're looking for some caring people to provide them with wonderful homes.

The mother's name is Sage (pictured above) and none of the puppies resemble her, instead taking after their brindle-colored father, Blade. Both dam and sire come from excellent, purebred blood lines. Blade's father is Mac's Kaplain Kruz who finished 8th in the 2010 USA American Bulldog of the Year competition. He had 43 points.

Better yet is Sage's pedigree. Her father, Mac's Hard Knox, was a junior champion with 7 1st place titles during 2010 and 2011. His father, her grandfather, was Ren-Scott's Purple Haze, 2008 American Bulldog of the Year. On her mother's side, Sage's great-grandsire was Bionic's Knuckle Head, 2007 American Bulldog of the Year. Both parents are really mellow and smart, easy to train and even easier to get along with. All the puppies appear very healthy and alert, and have been checked out by the vet. As you can see, these are some very special puppies.

 Delta (sold) is the first born and bears at least some of his mother's color. He's also very mellow and sometimes likes to eat laying down.

 

 Whitemarsh is the second born and was named after the park behind our house. He was one of the smallest until they started eating dog food, but now he's catching up.

 

 Zenya (sold) is the third born and is one of the friendliest of the puppies. He's also the largest and is more than willing to help his siblings with their food.

 

 Mafi is the fourth born and is the other pup with the light-colored markings. He's one of the smallest which is likely due to the energy he brings to playing with his siblings.

 

 Rushmore is the fifth born. He was the first to accept dog food, looks you in the face and has a strong independent streak.

 

 Brooklyn (sold) is the sixth born and likes to tell you what he's feeling. If the puppies are barking, chances are Brooklyn got them started. He's also the explorer.

 

 Laika is the seventh born and is the only female. She was the largest in the beginning but some of her brothers have caught up. She likes to play, prefers soap operas and her favorite color is pink. ;)

 

 Brutus (sold) is the last born. He was an early eater and does the least amount of whining. He's also got that eye-patch going for him.

 

 Sage is the mother of the puppies. She's very even tempered and a caring mom to her pups.

 

 Blade is the dad. If you want a glimpse of the future pups, study him. He's much more mellow than one might suspect.
