Any suggestions? Does this site have any tutorials or projects for beginners...

Well, first of all, welcome to the WWA!

A great number of lessons can be learned from reading the posts here and asking lots of questions... but, there are also three great 'beginners' sites out there you should check:

Wood Magazine's Basic Built site:
http://www.woodmagazine.com/woodworking-tips/basics/

Popular Woodworking's I Can Do That site:
http://www.popularwoodworking.com/icandothat/

And, the Wood Whisperer's New To Woodworking site:
http://newtowoodworking.com/

Those sites are full of plans, techniques, tool tips and lots of other stuff...

Oh, and the only stupid question is the one that's not asked!
