to have had an incomparable magnificent Norwegian heritage girl as my wife for 43 years. Her grandparents were immigrants from Norway and unfortunately for me I never met them. At family gettogethers Norwegian phrases came up in conversation and the meals were quite memorable. As with many cultures/ nationalities there are unique and noteworthy features. Here is a Norwegian item that embraces the working of wood.

IIRC there is an example of Norwegian culture at DISNEY WORLD EPCOT in Florida that I heartily recommend should you visit there. If it’s available try the , krumcake .rosestts or the fithigrit. YUM

Wow! Those are some great buildings. Are there any photos of the interiors?

DENNIS S: Yes. There are photographs of the interiors. Do a GOOGLE for “Norwegian stave church interiors” and find lots of entries. The easiest one to use to see many interiors is the IMAGES tab. There you will find a lot of pic’s as thumbnails that you can explore, unfortunately the thumbs do not caption the church the image is from. Other URLs on the GOOGLE page will get you to specific churches and their interiors.
I find it interesting that the churches apparently have no finish on the exterior materials, yet other than age darkening the pics do not show any decay.
