In a recent thread I posted with some small boxes, Newtooth pointed to some videos about making boxes by folding a single piece of wood. That's not how I made the boxes in that thread, but got me sufficiently intrigued to try the technique. You start by making some v-grooves and dados in the wood, then folding it all together. In the video this was done on the table saw, I did it with a router.

The larger boxes are 5" square x 2.5" tall. The smaller boxes are 3"x4"x2".
Walls are 1/4" thick.
After folding and gluing, the lid is cut from the body on the table saw. Freud makes a 7 1/4" Diablo blade that cuts a kerf a bit under 1/16". You can get them at Home Depot. The 40T blade is about $14 and oddly enough the 60T blade comes in a two-pack for $19 (or so claims the web site.)
