So I became a statistic yesterday and it is making typing difficult. Got bit by my table saw. These things happen so fast. Been using a table saw for 35 or 40 years with not so much as a scratch and yesterday a momentary lapse caught me. I was amazed that I could so much at once, while waving my hand around throwing blood every where. My hand got too close to the blade and my index finger got it right across the pad just under nail. Only 4 stiches so it could have been a lot worse, I was lucky.
The beginning.

This was the best part right here.

The above picture was in preparation for this.

And here we are all done just the wrapping left to do.

I had a knot that I did not see on the downside of a piece of pine fly back some years ago from a table saw. Broke my finger nail and finger tip back. 2 hours of hand surgery.............today it looks good as new. Things happen fast!

Glad you are OK! Hope it heals well!

Ron

Don't feel bad, Paul. I did the same thing, and a month later, to the day, I cut the same thumb again. The first time hadn't even healed yet.

About twenty years ago my oldest daughter came home on a Sunday Morning. She noticed blood on the side walk, and door handle. She went upstairs and noticed a bottle of strong antibiotics ( She works for a large drug company, so she knew what they were.) She realized no one was home, so she thought: well they must have went to church so it probably isn't fatal. My index finger is still a little short on the tip! So I can feel your pain!
