I suspect that some of us may be coming back from hibernation and thinking about getting back into an outdoor (read unheated garage) shop. Probably first on the "to do"list is cleaning things up, organizing some over winter clutter, making sure that tools are where they're supposed to be and finding shop made jigs and fixtures. When it comes to those jigs and fixtures, remembering all the "gee I wish" features starts the process of designing and making new helpers. A new table saw sled may get to the top of the list as something that makes shop time more productive, accurate and hopefully safer. This URL should not be a "this is how it should be" but rather a bump to the creativity to design and make a new updated and more feature packed sled for your shop.
