Yeah, I know.

Such a whimp with only 2" on the ground and 35 degree temps.

But these ol' bones don't do cold very well anymore.

Hey Dennis,

I was wondering how my favorite pair of hillbillies made out during the storm. How is it that you only got 2", and down here in the city we got nearly 4"? It looked good for about an hour this morning before it all started to melt, and now it's mostly gone down the drains. They're calling for another bout of it on Monday.

Would you believe it, the building company is going to finally drop off the supplies for the pavilion on the 15th? At this point, I can honestly say that I'm glad I'm not building anything outside this time of year.

Cheers,
Tom

I guess the snowfall pretty much tapered off by the time it got up here. We needed to go to town today and I don't think I would have gotten out of the driveway and up the hill to the main road without the Bronco & 4WD! Plowed the drive with the tractor but there was still enough slush to make it a full traction operation to get up the slope.

Yeah, up here we can see the logging operations on the hills above our place. Since the log trucks come down our main road on the way to log heaven, I presume there are some hearty souls working up there in this weather giving the truckers something to haul. Hearty souls indeed.

We go an Inch of snow last Monday, It melted. The temps went down a bit after Thursday, it did not get above 26 today and right now just after 11PM it is 11. I just cranked up the pellet stove a bit. Expect it will be close to "0" by morning. :(

We had a nice gentle 9 inches and today was -6 when I walked the dog. Colder tomorrow.

We haven't had ANY snow yet and it is December! Very unusual but, the air is just too dry and it's COLD here. It was 11 f at 7:00 AM and has warmed up to 15 f at 10:00 AM.
It has been a very mild fall this year, sub zero temps are not unusual for this time of year normally.
