I turned fifty a month ago. My friends and family chipped in a fair bit of money and I bought a Tormek T7!
My old one that has served my father and me has found a new home. The old one was from 1978 my father says. I wonder if this one will last as long as that. I has got 10 year warranty so maybe...
And It works fine too. Robust as a rock. The man made stone is also much more aggressive than the sandstone wich the old one had. Now I have many chisels to sharpen...
Thanks for watching.

The upgrades to the newer models are well worth it. My old one took a torch and pipe wrench to get the old wheel off for replacement. I need to consider upgrading the hardware to the stainless steel option. They're spendy but man they put a nice edge on tools!
