Made this for a neighbor lady. She wanted it rough to show the old wood. Of course, this meant the wood wasn't warped and nothing was square. Had a rough time pulling in close to looking decent with a lot of clamps. The truck tailgate is badly warped also. The whole thing is pulled and twisted with clamps and then held in place with a bunch of long screws. Everything is in so much tension it may explode at any moment.

The pictures aren't working but the links themselves do. Nice work, looks like it weighs a ton. It really suits the tailgate.

Really nice job on the bench! I like the use of the tail gate for the back and it looks super sturdy.

Several years ago a friend of my wife's wanted a "simple, no finish" garden bench. So I made one out of "Big Box" store cedar fencing material. When she took it home and her husband saw it, he commandeered it and put in another part of the yard. Now he and his buddy's use it for drinks and conversation on summer evenings. :)
I told her to have him make her another one but, I don't know if he ever did. :)

It would look much nicer if it had a Ford tail gate! :P

Nice job otherwise! :D
