Hard to believe that within a year of building it, my 12' X 8' shed with a loft is already packed to the gills. So, this weekend I broke ground on another one. This one I'm doing on the cheap with left overs from other project and using as much as possible, stuff I already have had laying around. Here's the plan:

4' X 5' long to fit in a pocket of our house formed by the back of the garage, the side of the house and the stairs to the deck. It'll snug up against 2 walls and due to this, I'm thinking about building the frame in the yard, skinning those two walls with luan ply then picking it up and moving it onto the platform floor. I'd thought about leaving these walls open to the house walls, but that would allow too much weather and bugs to get in. I'd also thought about attaching it to the house, but then I'd have to pull a permit and that is way too many hoops to jump through, and would drive the cost way too high. Anyway, here's the floor so far.

The paint is just primer, I'm gonna add a coat of Gray porch paint right after lunch. The roof should top out just below the eaves of the garage roof.
