So having been RETIRED since Sept. I thought it was about time I got to doing things I promised Debbie I would do years ago.
Started with upgrading the drawers in the kitchen, Dad built them about 50 years ago. They have been awful for 25 years. The hardware has been literaly falling apart. This is how I started. building the boxes, I used 3/8ths box joints for very solid joinery.
In this section there are nine drawers, I have several installed, am using full length soft closing slides, not so easily installed when the face frames are already there.

These are the drawers ready for installation
I have not decided what the fronts will look like yet so haven't made them yet, I know they will be painted so I may use poplar for that.
