Hey Folks,

Well this is it, my last official day. I say official because the job's not done yet, and so I've agreed to come back at half time for up to two months, to finish things off. It's been a good run, and for the most part, rewarding and fun.

Next up, is setting up the Fremont Occasional Woodworks. Eventually, it'll have an online presence as well, but given that actual wood working is a higher priority, don't hold your breath. My first project will be an outdoor pavilion/picnic/work space, as soon as my building permit is granted.

Cheers,
Tom

SWMBO's last official, as well. As we went to the fair yesterday, she fussed that she wouldn't be able to do some things before going in Monday. I reminded her that Monday was now something for other people, and she smiled.

While there are no more Mondays, the downside is Friday's gone, too.

Congrats, Tom, you deserve it!! Keep us posted on how the store-front's going. Hopefully, I'll be up to speed and can help decorate it with some turnings when the time comes (or not too long after).

Congrats on the retirement. I was 2 weeks out and they offered me this job in the UK. I wanted to go out so bad it took me up to 3 days before I was going to retire to accept the position. Now I'm about 6-8 months out before I return and go out.

I hope they don't offer me anything else and just let me go.......

You are living my dream buddy....
