I hope it doesn't go away. This is an important site for me.
I like the folks here.
Maybe they have all gone fishing for a few days. :D

Well, I guess it's summer and people have other things to do.
I too miss the old heydays and a lot of the people that posted daily. Now it's just us old timers that hang around an drop in daily to see if anything is going on. We haven't picked up any newbies for quite awhile and we need some new questions to answer and things to discuss. 8)
I remember when Tampa Tom used to stretch a conversation into five pages, now he has his own site.
My brother Amateur Bill retired, slowed down on wood working, bought a fishing boat and went fishing.
Verna keeps buying new mini campers every year and goes on vacation nine months of the year.
Admittedly, I've slowed down quite a bit on wood working, just have trouble getting inspired these days but, I still check in at least twice a day.
And so it goes. :(

I'm with the lot of ya. Not a time goes by when I sit with my face plastered to the display that I don't check for posts here. And that's usually more than a few times a day. I'd share some of what I've been up to but I'm afraid it might be somewhat boring to the group.

What the he!!. Tomorrow I'll take some fotos to share none the less.

When I came back from a short vacation and saw my last comment was still at the top I kind of felt a sense of doom and gloom about us. I like a site that is not overwhelming with too many folks, but this feels uncomfortably small lately. I do notice quite a few people just window shopping, maybe if some of them posted once in a while?

BTW, Jess if you are out there, how you doing?

Yea those were the days. However in the summer time it always slows down here, it will pick up again in a couple of months.

Ive have been back in the old country for the past month and a bit. Flew into NYC on the 19th of June, and spent a few days there with my daughter, and then tood the Megabus to Burlington Vermont where my mother picked us up and brought us to the North East Kingdom, more specifically Greensboro Vermont. My son flew in a week later, and my wife 2 weeks after that.

Then we all loaded into the Odyssey (my sister lent it to us) and headed to Mackinaw Island Michigan to spend a weekend with my brother and sister and their children celebrating my mothers 80th birthday at the Grand Hotel on the Island! It was a lot of fun. Then back to my Sister's house in Rochester NY for a couple days, and then back to JFK and a long flight 34+ hours back to
Tyaak! Am now really jet lagged so if this is making no sense you know why! :D :D
I too hope this place continues, it has been really good for me, and many others, but everything must come to an end sometime....
