Zoe, our Chow/Retriever mix pasted away on Tuesday. She had just turned 15 and had been flying on one kidney since she'd lost the first to a tumor in 2012. This was tough on both Jo and I as we haven't found another pup yet. Actually Jo's doc's haven't cleared her to adopt another one yet, but we're looking anyway. Zoe was a great help to us both in dealing with Jo's AML and her long recovery from her bone marrow transplant.

Hey Frank,

I'm sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is like losing family. My sympathies to you and Jo. I hope that another dog finds their way into your life for both your sakes.
Peggy Tzu sends her sympathies as well.

Cheers,
Tom

Frank,
Ain't nothing easy about losing a good dog, or any pet for that matter.
Take care,
Eric

Thanks all. It has been a rough couple of weeks. We've been searching the net high and low looking for a new shop assistant. We finally found two last week, and it was a tough decision to make, but we now have a beautiful 5 year old red chow that we found at the Denver Dumb Friends League. That's also the place we got our first boy, Zeke. I'll post a proper 'Howdie Do' later. I have class tonight.

Wow! She looked a lot like our 7 year old Chow/(?) mix!
Wonderful dog! Rips your heart out when you have to put one down.
