Congratulations! If it is anything like my retirement you will love it.
I have been retired a little over two years and have enjoyed every second.

Well Paul,
You beat me to it. But hopefully not my much, I'm hoping to retire next year sometime, if they'll let me.
Best of luck.
Cheers,
Tom

Verna, I don't have any plans, I am just going to relax for a while and try to clean up my shops and then maybe get some ww'ing done.

Since I retired 4 years ago, it has been a busy time. I have more time to do the things I want, working on cleaning my shop, WW'ing, traveling, and at times, just relaxing. BUT, I still cannot get out of the habit of waking at 5:30 every morning. That dreaded internal clock will not shut down. I guess I shouldn't complain tho, b/c it is nice to beable to relax and watch the sunrise with a cup of java, and not have to hurry and get ready for a work day.

Yank,

THAT'S A FACT JACK! 8)
I've been out of work for eight years now and still loving it! :-D
I thought that I would probably be bored and looking for part time work or something in six months or a year but, it never happened. I still get up at 6:00 AM and have a routine for the morning and then start wondering what is going to happen next.
I haven't gotten around to cleaning the shop yet because every time I start to rearrange things, another project pops into my head and the mess starts all over again!

It's been a month now and I am beginning to think that I could get used to not working. I've seen more sunrises than I care to, I want to sleep till 7:30 or so. I've been waking up at 5 AM for way too long.
