OK I realize it's rather short notice but - fifty years ago tomorrow afternoon I stood before witnesses and along side my hi-school sweet heart at the alter of wedlock. Keep in mind that the fiftieth is golden and UPS won't deliver to a PO box so PM me if you don't have our physical address (hahaha)

What are we doing to celebrate? We're off this afternoon to a woodworking show in the small town of Deming a bit up north. Our turner's club sets up our mini lathes and makes round things out of square things and making small round things out of larger round things. Weather is supposed to be fantastic so should be a pleasant outing what with three dogs in a 26 foot camp trailer!

Hey Dennis,

Congratulations you old fart! BSEG

Shame on you for stealing Robbie away at such a young age. Then again, I can't say that I blame you one bit.

Have fun up state this weekend, the weather man says we're going to have the best weather in the country this weekend.

Tom

Got home from the Deming Hills to Mills WW show and was committed to putting in tile for a dear widowed friend of ours so just now got 'round to messin' with the photos. We had a marvelous time with friends from the Northwest Wa Woodturner's club. Spent all day Saturday and most of Sunday making square things round and hollow on our mini lathes. Lots of chainsaw carvers this year; more than in the recent past. Pix of the festivities in a (near) future thread. Just thought I'd share this ...

The club folks threw a surprise party of sorts at our Sat. Evening pot luck dinner. Cake, cherry pie, more food than we could possibly consume and plenty of libations to wash it all down.

Thanks for all the good wishes. Seems like just yesterday .....
