With the heat wave coming in and father's day just past I thought it would be good to think of cooler times with the grandkids. So instead of a picture of the kids in the heat I would post one of cooler times.

Our heat wave isn't too bad so far, in the mid 90's last week and predicted mid to upper 90's this week. To some people this may sound HOT but, for me, it's not too bad. I just keep remembering last year when we had over 50 days with temps 100+ and no rain. We have had 3" or so of rain in the last two weeks so the humidity is the real KILLER this spring.

Yes, It has been a good spring. Adequate rain and sunshine, but not too hot. Garden doing great. Not looking forward to a long hot summer like we had last year. Garden didn't dry up......it just melted!!!
