In the shape of a Mayan pyramid.

Quote:
Built proportionally to the ancient temple’s true size, the solid chocolate pyramid is six feet tall and its base measures 10 feet by 10 feet – exactly one-thirtieth the size. The sculpture’s base alone weighs more than 3,000 pounds.

The chocolate pyramid will be on display at Qzina Institute of Chocolate & Pastry in California, beginning June 4, 2012. The company plans to destroy the sculpture on December 21, 2012, when the Mayan calendar comes to an end. The method for destruction is yet to be determined.

You never had chocolate pie? My wife makes a great one. :D

I think that around 36,000 people could eat this thing in one day. :D

GENE: OOOOOHHHH yeahhhhh chocolate pie is a sublime remembrance from my long ago childhood. The pie was made by my mom sometimes topped with meringue and sometimes whipped cream. Either way a piece of pie and a big glass of cold milk would make my eyes roll back in my head. There is a restaurant chain up here inthe North country called BAKERS SQUARE and they make a pie called French Silk which is very good but hasn't hit that mark of excellence I remember my moms pie as.

Hey Newtooth,

Okay, no puzzler about Mayan pyramids. But here's a little quiz for you:

What is unique about the fruit of the cacao tree (which cocoa comes from)?

No fair using the internet. :-?

Tom

Hey Gene,

That may be true, I've heard it myself, but it's not the answer I was looking for. Something unique about the tree (and the fruit) itself. :D

Tom

ps. I'll move this over to the Puzzler, so that everyone gets a crack at it.
