Rapid Roger asked for this so...

How to make one
Marking Knives -1
http://www.buchanan1.net/marking_knife/ ... nife.shtml

Marking Knives -2
http://www.inthewoodshop.com/ShopMadeTo ... tails.html

Don't want to make one? Here is only ONE of many places to buy one.
Hock Marking Knives
http://www.thebestthings.com/newtools/marking.htm

How is it used?
How to use a Marking Knife
http://www.ehow.com/how_4454639_use-woo ... knife.html

I did notice in the "How to use" site it did not explain double beveled vs single beveled ( both left and right) and the why of each.
BTW - I prefer the double beveled because that way I don't need to check which single beveled knife I picked up. :-D

Thanks for the feedback Eric.

My hearty partying was fitting for my age...... none. I did cook a chicken on the Barbee for supper. I did attend church. That was it. :) :-D :D

Thanks for the links to knife plans Chick.
I have already started mine and it is somewhat heaver duty than most of what you show.
Will post some pictures when I get it done.
