I can't believe Larry and Caleb missed it...

I am going to try again to get some face frames made for my new kitchen cabinets (all the upper carcasses are built).

I'm at the Get Woodworking Live Exhibition over three days this weekend. This replaces, and is a month later than, the International Woodworking Exhibition I've been to regularly over many years.

I've got two designs and will buid a prototype of each to see which one will sell.
I'm thinking that I will have a market for the other one that they don't want anyway. :-D
Will post pictures of them when I get them done.

Picking up my new Bandsaw tomorrow. The neighbor said he'd help me get it into my house.

Hopefully I won't get called into work.....it sure is hard to turn down the overtime money  21.5 hours of OT so far this week, and I took a vacation day yesterday

The same thing I've done for the last few weekends. Working on 2 end tables.

I went to the Woodworking Show in Fredericksburg, Va. yesterday and spent probably $300. I know, no pictures, didn't happen.

As much as I hate rainy weekends, especially in the winter, I finally have a weekend home. This means that get some much needed shop-time. My goal is to be finished with all the woodworking for the built-ins for our living room.

Spent the weekend up in WY, painting, fighting a new computer and moden for the wife  , cutting and installing base board molding in the bathroom, then re-cutting it yet again  , and my most favorite of all jobs, laying in an attic blanket. Did 10 more rolls of R-25.

Unfortunately, I was in the attic late last night, and didn't want to get down until it was as done as I could get it, so I got started home about 1 a.m. and got home about 4:30. At that point, I didn't see the since in going to bed, just to get up in about 2 hours. :-? Something tells me that this is going to be a very long day.

Alden and I got to play in the shop this weekend dimensioning some beautiful cherry for his face frames and making some push sticks. Learned a thing or two about planing wood properly and how to run a band saw more smoothly. If was fun getting into the shop with my brother and getting a chance to see the passion he has for his craft first hand.

Would have been nice to spend some more time out there but family plans always seem to get in the way of play/shop time on these short weekend trips.
