So last Sunday evening I plan on mounting the replacement TS motor that Olepeddler sent up to me for my old Delta 36-600.
The replacement motor looks like it would do the trick.
I don't know why but I decided to check e-mail before I went to the shop.
There was a message from a member of my turning club that had just emptied out a storage unit and had a bunch of woodworking machinery for sale.
In the list was a Jet JTAS-10-1 10" Tilting arbor cabinet saw with 50" Exacta fence. The price was right (less than 1/2 new price).
And it came with 2 Forrest WW I blades and a ZCI. The deal was too good to refuse.

In a snowstorm we loaded it up into my truck and for the cost of lunch I had him help me get it into the shop.
Thing is a monster and I will have to move the shop around to make it fit.

If I can make it fit I think it will be a great addition.

It came complete with 50" fence and some extras.

Even a couple of Forrest WW I blades

Now I need to get the motor into the old Delta and get that out of the shop for the space.

I have to run a 220 line for the new Jet and re-route a Dust Collector branch. But that should be no problem.

Thanks for looking,
---Nailer---

You're gonna love having a cabinet saw. And you'll wonder how you got anywhere before the 50" fence!

You're gonna love that saw !!! I've got the left tilt version and to be honest with you, I never knew that using a tablesaw could be so nice. My primary experience over the past 20 + years has been with a $115.00 portable jobsite type saw by Ohio Forge.....

Oh yeah, you Suck big time !!!

Well, congrats. She looks like a real beauty. You're gonna be amazed at how quiet that baby is compared to the ole Delta. Just wish you'd been able to get a left tilt but hey, you're gonna luvit!

BTW, hope you plan to send those blades back to Forrest for a little work. From the pics they seem to need a little TLC.

Thanks everyone

I do deserve it. I SUCK!!

If it makes you feel any better I have to move my entire shop around to accommodate the new saw.
I will lay it out in Visio tonight and study it for a couple of days to see where everything is going to go.

Not sure if the saw will stay on the mobile base. It raises it up a little high for my existing outfeed table. We'll see.

These two Forrest WW I blades as well as a WW II I have will be getting sent out in the near future for some long overdue TLC back to Forrest.

Thanks again Guys,

Why does that animal look like a 12" saw to me? It's gotta be a beast!
