This is what I have been working on the past week. Nothing special but it is a lot better than a 42" TV sitting on a piano bench for 6 months. Lord knows why I decided to build a corner cabinet, I have a hard time building a square box lol. It is all 3/4 partical board (puke) with a black melamine surface to match a curio cabinet that houses my die cast car collection of(over 50) that was getting a little crowded.
I didn't want any visible screws so most of the joinery was biscuits and dowels. I had to keep things compact due to limited space. I still have drawers to build for the lower centre to house the DVD's and tapes. The unit on the center shelf is (believe it or not) a Beta machine. I have a lot of tapes I want to transfer to DVD.
To match the curio cabinet's black and brass edge molding, I had to buy a 250 foot roll from the States. I only used about 30 feet. lol Although not noticeable in the pic, all horizontal main shelves have a curvature to them.
Thanks for looking.

GUESS WHAT?... I forgot how to upload photos lol. It has been awhile.

Looks like it turned out real well. I like the die-cast collection, I have a room full of tractors although I haven't bought any in a long time.

Came out very neat Shy.

The edge moulding makes it match very well .

Corner TV units are so handy... they make use of a pretty weird area of the home.

That one looks very nice...

funny enough, I'm currently building an entertainment stand to replace a corner stand that we have in the middle of the room--ours doesn't match the decor or look nearly as nice as yours does. Great job!

looks great, thanks for sharing it
