I haven't made dust in such a long time I wasn't sure if I knew how any longer. So....I played around, not much work, not a challenge but, I was able TO MAKE DUST.

I made 5, but the son took one to a friends mom.

Have a look.

Nice work Bill. Simple and elegant. I'm sure it was fun to make too. 8)

Nice work! :-D

I can see how that will keep the screw on cap wet! :D

Now make one to hold a box of whine like you drink! :D

Just teasing. I like them really.

Way cool, Bill. Did you arrive at the dimensions by trial 'n error or have a pattern?

They look like a great use for offcut turned into nice little gifts.

An' believe me, I have lotsa offcuts!

Wanna share?

Olepeddler, sure I will share. I did have a pattern. Here it is.

Length from long point to long point. - 9.5"
Width - 2-1/4"
Thickness - 7/8" , this gives you a 1 3/16" base
Hole - 1- 1/2" then champhored
Hole from end of long point, center of hole- 1-3/4" I made mine 1-13/16" for more room to angle. May make it 1-7/8 on the next ones.
Ends cut at 45*

I put a coat of wipe on poly on mine.

Have fun.
