... what are you doing this weekend?

I'm working on electric and plaster in the kitchen trying to get all the changes done before the hardwood guys come in to refinish the floors.

It's a little bass-ackwards but we'll be putting in the new cabinets after the floors are done due to lack of time to finish the cabinets before the floor guys take over.

Easter is a long way away, sure you want to plant veggies this early.
Would freeze for sure here.

Just onions, greens, Alaska peas, and other early spring types for now. We're zone 4 in the guide from MSU - http://msucares.com/pubs/publications/p1091.pdf

Moving cattle this am and then going out to lunch with friends this afternoon while the kids stay home with Grandparents up for the weekend. Not a bit of woodwork, but lots of fun nonetheless!

Have a great weekend people!

SHOP TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I finally get an almost free weekend to get in some SHOP TIME. I have about a dozen errands to run for SWMBO, and then I'm firing up the shop and, God willing, will finally finish the stationary boxes to go with the pen, pencil, letter opener, magnafying glasses I turned for my Mother and FIL. After that, a couple of days in the finish room and their Christmas presents will finally be done.

Man, times have changed. I used to get excited about Trigger Time back when I worked Ranges. Those were the days.

I have broccoli rabe that I planted from last fall. Seems like it survived the 3 blizzards quite well. I used to plant my spinach and beets up here in PA every march first with good results. No room to plant this year though, my small garden is full of rabe.

Going to dinner today at 2 with 3 other neighbor couples.

Still working on the 2 end tables. Got 2 draws in one yesterday, putting the 2 draws in the other one today or tomorrow.
