between WWA contests.
With the winter weather we have been having, and a long lapse of time between WWA contests, a fella just hase to make sawdust some how. :x
So I warmed up to ole Scrollsaw and cut a few things just for fun. :D Here are two of them......

An idea from the web. (Could be used for awards or something but, I just made them for gifts)

Nice work Roger, but doesn't that weaken the wood on the hammer handles?

Oh yea! :D I'm sure it is alot weaker and not very comfy to grip either. The edges of the letters tend to cut into the palm of your hand and fingers too. :x
Really it is just for display and I probably should make a plaque to mount it on for wall mounting also. If it were for an award I would finish them up alot nicer.
But, they are just cheap ($8.00) (7oz) hammers and something to have hanging on the shop wall for fun and conversation. They fun to cut and it takes about 20 minutes to do. :-D
Besides, Mo (Chandley) and Duck (Waddle) and I (Sullivan) have a whole lot of tools we don't use.
