This is another door for our house that I just completed that is for the washroom that is entered through our sunroom.
The carved scene that faces the sunroom is the one with the birdhouse and flowers.
The carving with the outhouse scene faces inside the washroom.

The door frame is made with ash and the carving blank is basswood.

If interested, there are many more photos from raw basswood blank to completed door on this link following which is on my website.

Thanks for taking the time to look,
Garry

Hey Garry,

Beautiful job! I'm particularly impressed by the flowers.

I Never tracked the time. I did most of the carving while I was down with a broken ankle an could not do much of anything else.

Wow! That is great woodworking. I think the carvings are fabulous. I like the theme for each side of the door. Nicely thought out with some humor included.

I only wish I could do such nice carving.

I've heard of killing Philistines with the jawbone of an donkey, but carving wood with a broken ankle?

Now that's quite a story! :-D

I love those flowers! You did a really nice job on that.

Show off. :D

I am green with envy at such magnificent work. Littlebear wondered how well you could do if you broke your leg, I do not think you would like to find that one out though.

Simply beautiful work.

No I do not want to find out, although I did have 2 broken legs when I was a kid.

Thanks for the comments
