And they were a hit with the recipients! :D I am not at all musically inclined so I was unsure just how well these would be received - I should not have worried! Everyone was thrilled. Pictures of the swag:

Lots of fun to make and they sound pretty good. I cannot wait to hear some of the young folks playing them.

I also managed to turn a few pens and a screwdriver. The bookcases are almost finished and it is raining anyhow so I cannot deliver them.

Those are beautiful!! 8) I'm going to have to find out how to make some of those!!!
You might recall, when you first posted about those, I had no idea what they were. Thank you for adding to my education.
I have a few grandchildren that sure would enjoy having one of those for Christmas next year!!

Guy's,

Here is a link to one of the threads on my local club forum (Southeast Michigan Woodworkers). It has drawings that you can print out.
http://www.semiww.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=8040

This link included written instructions and a list of hardware:
http://www.semiww.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=8039

These worked out very well and were much easier than I thought they would be.

Thanks for the re-post Clay but, I have already looked up your orignal one from back in October. :D
Yep, I printed out the drawings. :) It wasn't as easy to get them printed as I thought it would be but, I got the job done. :D Probably due to my in ability to use a puter. :x
For anyone else, I had to use the "landscape" mode insted of the "portrat" mode and it was two pages for each drawing.
Again thanks and I'll probably bug you for some more info when I get around to trying one or two of the strum sticks.

Beautiful work! I really like the Maple one. I'll bet they were a huge hit with the kids. 8) 8) 8)
