I just want to wish everyone a great Thanksgiving and hope all is well with you. We all have so much to be thankful for.

Remember, no matter what your circumstances are, someone else is worse.

Be safe and enjoy the day with loved ones.

Bill

Since Im not at home these days, I tend to celebrate Thanksgiving two days late,ie the last Saturday of the month( which is really only one day late because the international date line....). We are having 10 friends over and I'm picking up a 24 pound free ranger tomorrow. We had one last year and gee it was good! It is wonderful to get the kids into it.

Sue got started on the pumpkin pies today, and it looks like Saturday will not be 104 in the shade, like last week, but a respectable 65 or so.

Sooo everything being equal it should be a fantastic time. I just hope the big bird fits in our oven (I havent mentioned that fear to my beloved yet!)
Might have to BBQ it if it doesn't aka ala Chuck Knarr and his green egg!

Ive rambled e nough now. Hope you all have a wonderful thanksgiving where ever you are. In my mind it is the best holiday of the year.

And many happy returns!

And let's not forget our military men and women serving overseas away from home. We need to give thanks for them and offer prayer coverage for them until they are on home soil.

Been laid off for almost 10 months and I INSIST on being thankful for a marvelous wife, two incredible sons, a fantastic church, our house is paid off, our cars are paid off, everyone is healthy, and our sons can stay in college and finish their education this year.

I have so much to offer thanks for!

And now I am leaving to go hunting with our son Chris in the Michigan north woods and freeze my fanny off. More likely I'll fall asleep out there after Thanksgiving dinner.

You guys stay safe and drive careful.

Grace and Peace to your house!

To all my friends on this forum, I hope you are as thankful as I am for what life has given me. I will be off to Everett for dinner with my daughter and her family today, spend Friday with my son on Bainbridge, and back home on Saturday. The very best to all!!!!

Hey Folks,

I'd just like to add my Thanksgiving cheer to all of you, and thank you for making this the best place on the web.

Yes, a very Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and yours.

I'm thankful that Kathy and Bob invited my sister and I to spend Thanksgiving with them in warm and sunny Florida.....as I'm sitting on their patio in the warm sunshine listening to the seagulls, the breeze in the palm trees and the faint sound of the cranes. Ahhhh, yes, very thankful :D :D

Happy Thanksgiving to all! I am thankful for all the blessings the Lord has given me this year. Wayne and I are cooking turkey & dressing along with several other things together.

Mee Mee (great grand child) is with us doing her thing, watching the parade, dancing & anything a 2 (almost 3) year old does. She is such a joy & keeps us very busy.

Enough said sooooo be safe all in your travels this holiday & have a great day.

To everyone in WWA, a very happy and rewarding THANKSGIVING.

I have to give thanks to our military, for without them, I would not beable to celebrate this day. I also give thanks to my family and friends that have stood by me and helped and aided me in my life.
I also thank my God for keeping me on the right path, without his help, I don't know where I would be.

Thank you all for all the advice and help in woodworking. I have learned so much from everyone, your advice has been invaluable

Wayne
