I received this email from my brother-in-law:

"I’m writing to express my thanks and great appreciation for your concern, your prayers, and your emails that helped me over the last six months. We just got back from Boston. DeAnn had a post-op checkup on the lung tumor surgery and a status check on the breast cancer, and to schedule the breast surgery. She got a clean report on the lungs, and they couldn’t find the breast tumor that was about an inch diameter last spring. She has no more chemo to undergo, and they won’t do a mastectomy, only a lumpectomy. It was all good news. Now we have to do the lumpectomy, with no lymph node involvement, in about a month, and checkups every six months. No one will ever convince me that your prayers didn’t affect the current status today. This doesn’t mean that we don’t need them in the future, but it’s just to thank you for those up to now."

Thank you all for your prayers and good wishes, it all helped!

Bob

Bob,

What great news. She has been on our prayer list at church since we saw you this summer. Please keep us informed about the surgery. Will check on her soon.

Have a great day.
