Hard to believe it's been eight years since the 9/11 attacks....

My wife asked me last night "what's tomorrow?" I told her "Patriot's Day" and she got real quiet for a moment, knowing that it wasn't one of those joyous days. I reminded her to raise the flag to half mast and to put out the good china for dinner tonight. Dress Blues in the office today and man, this place is a zombie factory this morning. It affects all of us differently. I work in a facility that is a "Joint-Service" environment, so to see everyone react in a similar matter tells me that I am not the only one that remembers. Great reminder Tom. Thanks for your loyalty to your country. My family thanks you too. -Weasel sends.

I'm just remembering... you guys who put it out there deserve the thanks...

Hat's off to all in the service, law enforcement, fire service and emergency medical services.

It is my pleasure to serve and be of service. There are less than 1 percent of Americans serving in a military component. The emergency services aren't too much different and their job is protecting us when WE are home, so they have the duty 24/7. You and so many of the others here at the WWA are all Fine Americans and it is definitely an honor and priviledge to be among you all. Thanks. -Weasel sends.

It was so foggy this morning when I left to come to work, I didn't put the flag out, so it will just have to wait until I get off work to fly for a few hours.

I don't think we will ever forget, I think that we all were astounded that such a thing could happen in the United States, sadly, now we know that it can.

The forces of evil are relentless, but I have no doubt in that saying that good conquers evil will prevail.

People in the services be it emergency, police, military, or others never get enough credit for what they do.

Thanks to all.

Vicki

First of all I would like to thank you WW and all others here for your service to our country, secondly, I would like to thank your familes as well, I know it is a burden on them as well.

Thanks as well to all those in the law enforcement, fire departments, EMS services , and who protect us each and everyday.

A lot of days I feel that thank you is not nearly enough, but here it is.

Thank you.
My prayers are with you all.

Allen

Never forgive - Never forget.

Not nice to say but they murdered more than three thousand innocent people.

A somber day today.

My heart goes out to all the families that lost loved one on 9/11, specially the FIREFIGHTERS, EMS, AND POLICE, for their dying dedication for their gallant efforts to save as many as they could, without regard to their own safety.

That terrorist attack means that we can never let our guard down to allow something like that to happen again.

LIVE LONG AND NEVER FORGET.

Wayne

Well I think you people said it well, it will be a date that will stick with us all forever. And also a big thanks to the thousands that helped out anyway they could.

A day to morn, a day of evil, a day of sacrifice, a day of heroism, a day to remember!

Well said all.

I have a cousin that worked in the twin towers at that time. On 9/11 he played hooky and went to a ball game. For several years he felt guilty about not being there with his coworkers.

I was camping this past weekend and knowing what Friday was, I made a flag pole out PVC and used a flag that I found out in the wood pile out back. No idea where the flag came from. Asked several neighbors and nobody claimed it, so I did. Put it up Friday afternoon when we arrived and left it up all weekend. Kept it lighted at night and when raining. Got several comments on how nice it was. I wasn't really looking for compliments. Just wanted everbody who came by to remember.

I'll never forget and hope we, as well as our brothers and sisters around the world, never do either.

A day I'll never forget, nor the 2 years afterward.
