Not much else to do lately, so did some rearranging.
I have this old hatrack? ( I can't recall the proper name for it), so here's what I ended up doing. This piece is near the front door. It, and the double barrel, were both made around the mid-1880's so thought it would be fun to combine them along with some other period correct, sentimental small items.
The double bbl is a Chatham Arms import from Belgium. Laminated steel barrels. Picked it up at a local estate auction about 20years ago. Apparently they were widely imported by a number of US companies, but there's no other markings on it that I could find. Don't really know much more about it. Blackpowder 12 gauge, chambered for 2
1/2" shells. I did fire a couple modern mini-shells in it once and nothing blew up, but I don't anticipate doing it again. These old laminate barrels aren't really trustworthy.
The revolver is a reproduction 1861 Colt Navy .44 cap and ball. I still shoot it sometimes, but I'm low on powder and BP is getting really expensive.
The sword was my fathers from his time in the Navy (1937-1960).
