Well I was in the path of totality. We set in the yard and ate pizza as we watched the big show. It was amazing how light it was at 98% totality, then got quickly dark at totality for almost three minutes, then light again. I was totality blown away by the fact that in our area we had clear a sky. In 2017 we had seventy five percent and it was a cloudy day so you could not even tell there was one.

Here in Houston we had 94%. It was real cloudy. It got a little dim at peak. It fooled me into thinking it was after 5:00 o'clock and I just started drinking.
