Hard to tell how
finely made a gun is without shooting a few hundred rounds thru it. There are many. very expensive, beautiful firearms that are poor shooters. But I trust Colt to have done it right, and I didn't see any obvious screw ups when I took it apart to examine it. I have no plans to shoot it, although I could succumb to temptation someday. Seven round magazine, just like John Wick's.
There's 113 years of American history associated with the model 1911, and they are still in use in the military and in civilian hands. I carried one during my USMC career, so this reproduction also has some sentimental value for me.
