My nephew called and said they were shutting down for a week where I get my scraps for fire wood. He had saved "a lot" of longer pieces. He said they were going to burn every thing at the end of the day so if I wanted some I had better get it before noon. I went up and got almost a full truckload of pieces 18 to 40 inches long , most of it 33 inches long. While not much of it is curly, like I made my grandaughter's desk out of, I figure I can make over three thousand dollars of ,boxes, stools and tables out of the truck load. Not a bad day!
