well I decided to take a break from building furniture and stuff for the inside the house. I got tired of looking at the mess of stuff piled along the back wall of the garage. So I had a bunch of those black 27 gal totes ot being used. I bought a couple of racks made for those totes. ( I knowgears a i could of built them cheaper.) Went through all the other totes and combined half empty ones making full ones. Well I got those done have a lot of room. But more to do. When i first bought this house I made some cabinets for the garage out of shop birch. I decided to make more to store our TP , paper towels, bottled water etc.
Im going to make those out of melamine as its alot cheaper then ply. A few years ago I bought a huge roll of 1mm thick 1 wide edge banding. So i took those existing cabinets apart edge banded them with the white edge banding and going to put them in the middle of a run so know one will notice after I. put the full length melamine slab doors on. Now that the temps here in Az are getting to the century mark and soon even hotter Im working in the morning when its cooler. Once I get the melamine blade for me track saw ( I ordered it today) Ill get the melamine 4x8 sheets and start cutting them. I found plans to hang my bikes on the side of the wall from Ana White. Im gonna make them to mount our 3 bikes . Anyway to soon to show photos as the garage is still full of CRUD. Ill take some photos once it has some semblence of organization :>)
