When i had my first hip replacement the gp refered me to the surgen. He took my blood pressure and x rays and scheduled the surgery. Now that I am on medicare I had to take six weeks of physical theropy before they would even think about scheduling a hip replacement after both the back surgen who did my back and the surgen who did my first hip replacement both said I needed it done. In the three months since this started I have had 6 EKG,s, worn a heart monitor for 24 hours, had a stesss test, an electrocardigrame, and three different blood tests, So if any of you are thinking about hip replacements do it before you go on medicare if at all possible.

Well you won't be hearing from me for two or more weeks. I go in tomorrow for the hip replacement and the computer is down stairs and I will be upstairs.
