Well it was cold and raining when we got home from church today,so I decided to cook up dinner. One quart home canned tomato sauce from the garden, one quart chilly beans home canned from the garden, some chopped up dried peppers from the garden, some home canned banana peppers from the garden, one lb of ground venison from the freezer from last years hunting. As Harry Bellefonte once sang:"I am just a country boy, money have I none but I've got silver in the stars, and gold in the mourning sun."Prices of store bought food keeps going up but the garden still produces good food as does the apple trees.
