When i hooked up the propane furnace for the shop I discovered it had no furnace filter. Not a good thing for a wood shop. No mater how god you dust collector, and air cleaner are there will always be some fin dust in the air. So I made a box to hold a furnace filter that fits over the inlet panel. I used magnets to hold it in place. I set the box to hold the filter out 1&1/2 inches from the furnace. Since the furnace is 14 inches wide with a twelve inch inlet. I use 14x20 inch furnace filters since they are readily available.
