With all the record cold, everyone bundled up next to a fire that there would be ton's of chatter on this board.

How is everyone holding out?

Here in NEOK, we are setting record cold temps with 5 inches of snow from yesterday and another 3-5 coming tonight.

All this in the middle of finishing some small side tables... that's on hold for a bit.

My shop dog, Peggy Tzu, keeps and eye on the wood stove to make sure I keep it stoked.

Most of us need electric power to get on the forums. I have been to busy shoveling out the woodshed, barn and shop to spend much time posting. The last few weeks I was active but the last week I have been kept busy. As to the shop dog, we used to have a thermocat. When ever the stove cooled down my wife's house cat would jump up on it to get warm. (We had an expanded metal shield over the stove so the kids wouldn't get burned ) If the cat was over the stove we knew it was time to put more wood in.

Well, Here in SEPA, it has been cold and some snow, but nothing out of typical actually. January was warmer than usual, February threw some curve balls. I have had the heater guy here 3 times as my gas furnace has been showing it's age. Never lost electric so we had a space heater and electric blanket and I am no worse for the wear.

2 of my daughters live near Alentown PA, an hour north of here and had 24"+ of snow on that last storm. Luckily my son in law is young and has a strong back!

Best regards folks,
Ron
