Since I am retired and not teaching due to covid 19 .All I have to worry about is shoveling the snow to make paths to the wood shed, the shop, and barn.I remember having to get to work during blizzards, 20 below temps, and floods. Now i just keep the stoves burning ,feed the livestock, and play around in the shop making little projects, some I will sell, many I will give away . The only problem is getting fat since we have so much food and I am not active enough to burn off the calories I consume .

being retired is nice here is AZ our issue is opposite yours, we have nice fall winters and springs, its the summers that are brutal. But being retire means I can go to the shop a do what i have to anytime day or night (especially night early morning in the summer) when the temp is easier to deal with.
