I did not have a large apple crop this year but I did have enough to supply all in our church who wanted apples or cider. A new wood shop started up this summer and doesn't have a use for their cut offs yet. So I traded cider for cut offs. I get a truck load of cutoffs for each gallon. All Kiln dried maple. I already made a serving tray and a rolling pin from one bucket of cutoffs. Now I only have six more truck loads to go!

Sounds like a great swap. Maple is nice for boxes and I'm sure the cider is delicious!
