The shop box that is. As in like having your air compressor outside in the deep freeze during winter. Don't forget to drain it! We don't usually get prolonged really low temps but the next few days it's predicted to get down in the mid to hjigh 20's. Yeah, big deal but that's pretty cold for these parts. So I thought, I haven't drained mu big air compressor for some tiime. Yep, there was at least a quart of water in the tank! I doubt i that would have been enough to do serious damage but why risk it.

Drain the air compressor!

Hey Dennis,

Always good advice, particularly if your compressor is set up to provide continuous air. At work, I set up a solenoid on a timer that did it every 24 hrs. I should do that at my shop too, but I've been to lazy, not a good thing.

This morning we had freezing fog, Kris nearly slipped and fell just trying to cross the street.

Be careful out there,
Tom

Yeah, it's cold enough outside right now to freeze a witches ... er, ... well it's pretty cold. For us Nor' Westerners at least. Hope I can get out of the driveway. Still an inch or so of snow over the ice from yesterday.

We're getting our first snow right now. Not going anywhere today, a great day to be in the shop working on Liz's cherry dining room table.

we had our first snow of the year yesterday, good thing it didnt stick. but man it was cold. Supposed to be more of the same today.

I need to get back out in the shop as im tearing it down and cleaning to tolls to get them shipped back to the US in a couple of months.

Almost done though. But still got some things to do.
