I finally got a new computer to replace my old one that lasted about 17 years, still worked but the software was failing and could not be upgraded.
I picked up a "new" used one that was about 3 years old for $50 w\free shipping and a 27" monitor at a garage sale for $25

OK so I'm cheap :D

Hey, if it works, don't sweat it!

I'm kinda in the same boat in that all my software is so, SO 'legacy'. Can't see the cost of new stuff as worth it if it still works. Trouble is most of it won't run on the new operating systems. Don't know what I'll do if either of these 'pooters decide to go toes up on me.
