I'll put this in the scrap pile since it's not, strictly speaking, woodworking. Although it does involve working with wood.

Our back porch/deck/stairs has been patiently awaiting a do-over for several years now. Involves new handrail/guardrails, beefing up the stair carriage and new elastomeric coating on the upper deck.

Manged to get the existing stair railing and some of the deck guard rail demo'd today. Gonna be a long project what with me not liking working more than a couple feet off the ground!

Pretty big job. I have a deck that needs work at the bay but it will only get emergency repairs till I retire.

Your place looks awesome!

I'm constantly amazed, Mango, at the amount of dust, pollen, and other airborne detritus floating around here in the woods. And to go without any rain to speak of for the length of time we did this summer makes it worse. Thus the cover on the grille. Comin' off this evening for some pork chops, though!
