After the horrible drought Texas has been going through for the past few years, I never thought I would complain about rain.
This 5" a day stuff is getting really old!

It has rained 4" since dawn this morning already.
Texas is a big lake.

I know you are drowning but here in
the Hill Country we are really enjoying the
amount of rain we have gotten.
Not Counting Blanco or Wimberley.

Hey Guys,

Keep your heads up!
I hope that you're not experiencing the massive floods that we've seen on the evening news. Too much of a good thing, for sure.
I much prefer to get my precipitation in daily doses, rather than all at once.

Cheers,
Tom

I live in Kansas and we have had more than our fair share of "liquid sunshine" here too.
As you Texans have, we've been in a drought for 4 or 5 years also and the rain is welcome....to a point. We don't have flooding in my area but, there has been some around the state.
Yesterday was the first sunny day we have had in two weeks and I think today will be the same. I'm starting to think I live in London or something.
The farmers are loosing the wheat crop to moisture this year instead of drought. They are getting ready to harvest in 2 or 3 weeks and the fields are too wet to even walk on not to mention using machinery to cut with.
